Yet the veterans that I have had contact Barack Obama have not even received a confirmation letter. When they contact Dick Durbin, within three days his Secretaty in Springfield Betty contacts them through phone and correspondence. Obama ran on veterans issues in the state when he ran for US Senate. Since then he has ran from those he swore he would help.
I personally know veterans that have contacted his office and not received a reply. They have filed their paperwork through the VA with the help of VA personel. Even the VA personel will tell you that having a Senator look into your case seems to move things forward.
Dan the man. I have not applied for veterans compensation. I have personally helped veterans get their paperwork done and get them in contact with those that know more than I do on VA compensation. Yet 5 people now receive 100% compensation benefits from my help.
