Personally, I dont like people who try to profit from bad things that happen to them. Is that what your bills came to or are you trying to take them for everything you can? Sorry about your injury, but sounds like you are greedy
EDIT: Larry - Where in my answer have I said the company should not pay for damages? The person asked a question and wanted an opinion with the facts given. That is all. And as long as we are talking about passing judgement when you dont have a clue, how is it that you feel you can call me brainwashed and prejudiced and an immoral greedy hate mongering republican? Flattery - I hear what you are saying and I see your point. THe way this question was worded made me think of the woman who spilled hot coffee on herself and was awrded millions of dollars from McDonalds. I think there is reasonable and then there is over-the-top greed and unfortunately, there are lots of people out there looking for a windfall at the expense of others.
