Chem100 has a spectacular aura about
geology question??

Water taken from a mine-tailings pond contains significant
concentrations of the dissolved ions, Fe3+ and Mn2+. What can you say
about the water in the tailings pond?

a) it is acidic, but the redox conditions vary
b) it is neutral, but the redox conditions vary
c) it is acid and oxidizing
d) it is acidic and reducing

can someone help me with this question, and why it is so??
