| OK first location you should place your tent someplace visible preferable close to a point of access in case you need an ambulance. depending on the size of the event and number of people you will need to determine the resources you'll need. A small event will need only one or two people. an event with 100+ you should try to find 3 or more first aiders, equipment will be an issue these events either eat it up fast or use none at all. Stock up on band aids, cold packs, and ace wraps. You may want a splinting setup or other equipment if it is available. If you are expecting warm weather be prepared for heat related illness, keep shade and cool water handy. You should keep supplies at your base and have a bag set up with supplies to respond to incidents. Make sure that your responder has a cell or radio so you can keep in touch if the need arises. Contact your local ambulance corps and ask them for tips and advise them of the time, location, number of people, access points, and contact information for your event. This will be handy if you need EMS they should have a clue. If they are volunteer they may be able to provide you with an ambulance crew on standby for a small donation paid companies will charge you an arm and a leg so don't even bother. You should keep track of the names and treatment provided to anyone who you care for. As for what will come in that is a loaded question, the answer is anything or nothing, I have been on standby at events and done nothing but read other times i have transported 3 to the hospital. Keep us updated on your event and contact me if you want further assistance |
