JustAQuestion has a spectacular aura about
Economics Applied?

So what can someone who has been reading about economics do with the knowledge? I ask this because I took an economics class for a semester a year ago and now I'm reading a book about economics. So I'm remembering all of the terms and how it works and learning more as well.

But, basically all I'm learning is how economists look at and interpret things... But my question is, is there any way to apply any of the concepts I've learned or is this just a glimpse and I'd have to go to school for 4 years first before I could apply economics in a practical sense?

For example... If I read a book about engine repair, I can run to the garage and open up my hood and start applying the knowledge. How so with economics? Thanks.
