| washing a wall with regular paint ?
ok..so i worked my butt off painting a wall with a color I liked,,,,,then it turned out to be a bit too bright for the entire hallway...so i see another color a bit darker...almost the same type of color just darker..now i am afraid to use it because what if its so dark that the hallway looks smaller(the brighter color made it look bigger)...so i thought to myself ...maybe if i water the darker color down and do a "washing" type of effect..and maybe it will darken it just a bit but still show through some of the lighter color....would this work? What exactly is washing anyway?? |
