In all honesty, I understand your point.
My husband and I are both Navy. To be honest, I have to say stay away from the Navy...if you go into anything chose the airforce. The Navy likes to say they are all for family and stuff, but in all honesty they aren't as good as they say they are.
Research ALL your options before making a decision. If you choose to go in your girls will understand when they get older if they don't understand now. I just had a baby 7 months ago, and it's tough to be in the position I have now.
Have you spoken to your husband about this? If not, that is who you should be talking to about this. Contact the local recruiters and don't take any crap from them, a lot of them will throw bull*hit out there to you.
