| Should Dailai Lama separate himself from politics to promote a peaceful religion?
I always believed buddhism had been the most peaceful religion in this world not untill I saw those Tibetan Laima kicking, beating people on the street, attacking stores, banks, ...(from news video clips). Then today I learned that Dailai Lama is to resign from his political leader position but to keep his spiritual leader status. I am confused by the facts : a) why did Tibetan monks act violence like those street gangs ? b) as a religious leader, should Daila Lama separate his religion from politics at the first place like we do in this country ?
