krazyangel4life has a spectacular aura about
i am 31 weeks pregnant and i had both tests done. the first one i was supposed to be about 140 bs and i was 159 and then i had the second test *the three hour one* and i tested three out of four positive. so i have gestational diabetes now. it wasn't so horrible, i have bad veins too and i got four vials of blood drawn but because they do it every hour you have time to recouperate between each drawing. i'd suggest you bringing a good book and a pillow with you because it gets boring too. the likely hood is pretty likely from what i understand. i think each diet is specifically specified to each individual. but here's how mine is right now. @ 4-5pm i eat breakfast *because that's when I get up* and i have a meal that is no more than 45 carbs *they gave me a pictured menu of food i can and can not eat and how many carbs per item such as a small apple is 15 carbs, two small plums are 15 carbs etc.* then at 7pm i have a snack that is no more than 30 carbs, and then at 11-12 i have another meal that is no more than 45 carbs, and finally at 2am i have another snack that is no more than 30 carbs. i don't like it at all but it's worth doing so i don't have to take insulin and for my baby's health. hope this helps!
