Take a blank sheet of paper, in the middle write "America in 1950", circle it. Than take ten straight lines out of the center and write down ten thoughts you have about your main idea. Then circle those ten ideas. From there write two lines of poetry on each of your ten branches from your main theme. Should take you only 20 minutes if you do it clearly and try not to censor yourself, remember all ideas are good.
