| Check with your local zoo for volunteer and internship programs. Some zoos will allow you to work your way up to a paid positon, others want a 2-4 year degree in zoology or other closely related topic. If you want to study wild animals outside of a zoo, then go to school majoring in zoology, biology, wildlife management, or marine biology. Try to do as much hands-on work while still in high school and college, it will up your chances of getting a job once you graduate. Check out these websites more more info:
