Back in college I once turned down an invitation to meet a friend's family. Her and I were not really a couple but we were more than friends. I didn't know how to handle the situation and I had no idea what her family's image of me was. I was afraid that they expected me to be her boyfriend. You can say I was immature about it.
Without know why the other party opted out you can resolve the issue. Talk to them, friendships to relationships with everything in between, none of it is easy. |
