I totally understand how you are feeling right now. I have been there. I had all the same emotions and fears. It's a normal reaction from a loving parent. We want the best for our kids and when our ideal of the best doesn't work out we hurt. One of the things that really made me see the situation for what it was is this...

A child would rather be FROM a broken home then to live in one.

It is so much better for your children not to be raised in a house with parents who fight all the time. You can both co-parent the children and love them just the same as when you were together. The failure of your marriage is not a measure of you or your husband's love for the kids. I wish you nothing but luck and please know it does get easier with time.
