It is likely that the treatment will nto help, and you will have pain for the rest of your life, but if you intend on a civil suit then you MUST not avoid treatment for more then a 6 month period or you will be charged with mitigating.

DO whatever you can to help yourself feel better. Record EVERYTHING, from miles driven and gas prices at the time due to the accident, to missed work days, to prescrfiptions, excersises you do EVERYTHING.

Take pictures of everything. Photocopy everything.

Retain a well known Personal Injury lawyer.

No on can tell you how much is worth sueing, as different barriers are different serverity for everyone.

Your lawyer will decide what is best to ask for and will OK it with you first.

It will probably take a minimum of 2 years to complete, but usually much longer.

Unless the other side decides to settle on a decent price sooner you can expect to be waiting a long time...
