| i have to do an ethnography for my anthropology class - any ideas?
Preferably, I would like to do something really interesting - meaning, nothing broad like an ethnicity or a gender. It has to relate to one or more of the following topics in anthro:
- Ethnicity/Race - Language / Representation
- Gender/Sexuality - Power Relation
- Kinship - Consumption
- Place-Making - Subculture / Identity
I guess we have to follow a group for 2 weeks and participate with them. Any ideas on groups? And any ideas on field sites? |
