Not when people smoke in public. But I think when people smoke right in front of doorways it is rude.
Its harmful, but not all that bad honestly. People are really over reacting to that kind of thing if they're complaining about smoke outdoors. I don't mean you specifically but the whole idea that its going to cause them permanent harm to walk past a puff of cigarette smoke outside occasionally. Its obvioiusly going to cause damage if you're indoors or in an enclosed space but you won't get any more damage from a whiff of smoke outdoors than you'd get when a bus or truck drives past. Its just more acceptable to complain about smokers I guess
