Do you know what I actually never thought of until a few weeks ago when I had this discussion with a friend? All the kids who get expelled from public schools go to the private schools becuase that's the only place they can go.
And come on. You can see it in their faces that the kids in public schools are enjoying themselves much more. Public school offers a much more relaxed atmosphere. And no ugly uniforms!! I know they say that's it's about not comparing yourself to others. But uniforms don't make you less fat, do they? And everyone still knows who is rich. There's still gonna be "popular" kids. Sorry but that's a little thing I call the TRUTH!
School isn't solely about textbook education. It's also about people skills which will help you later (i.e., networking). It's no fun to have to constantly be on edge becuase you're gonna get yelled at if you ask the kid sitting next to you a question.  |
