What I recommend is to elevate your leg to get rid of the edema accumulating in your leg. This most likely means you need to either be sitting down or lying down. I take it that you may feel more comfortable in a flexed back position because of your stenosis. Prop a pillow in your upper back as to cause flexion that may help impingement of any nerve roots. Remember to do ankle pumps, quad sets, glut sets as to get blood moving down to the leg and to minimize DVT & PE chances (as able).
