Would this really qualify as a Christian divorce?

A guy I worked with claimed that both he and his wife are Lutherans. The guy cursed like a sailor, constantly lusted after women and even cheated on his wife on occassion. One day I confronted him on his behavior, and he reminded me that he was a Lutheran and he had a spot in heaven because he believed in Jesus. I asked him how often he and his family attended church. He informed me that they had attended a funeral two years ago. I asked him how often did he and his family pray. He informed me that they didn't. I then proceeded to ask him how often or when was the last time he and his wife read the bible. His reply to me was that they didn't read the bible and he couldn't remember that last time he did. Currently his marriage is in trouble and they are both contemplating divorce. This guy doesn't pray, attend church, and has absolutely no relationship with God whatsoever. However if he and his wife divorce, it will be documented as a Christian divorce. Is this realy a Christian divorce
