BUT, The French Revolution was not the first revolution, but it was one of the bloodiest. It was inspired by the American Revolution, started off by storming an empty prison, then slicing the head off of their witless king, and finished by putting an Emperor on the throne.... go figure!
For impact, it allowed the rise of Napoleon, and he utterly altered the course of European History.
But read. Read well, and form your own opinions.....
