It gets better. I'm an Army wife and you are just starting your military career. Once you are done with all your training and go to your first duty station then she can move to where you are at. She should know being in the military does involve some time apart. My husband has been in 8 yrs. and has been gone 3 seperate whole years. But it's definetly worth the wait.
