It sounds like more than dyslexia hon. First thing you should do is get him to a mental health clinic, and have him properly screened and diagnosed. Once you have an official diagnosis, you can help him to apply for SSI. 10 years ago, the government wasn't big on awarding SSI for mental illness, but times have changed and they are more aware of the debilitating effects of mental illness.
