I always thought gestational diabetes was brought on by pregnancy complications. I didn't realize it was related to chromosomal abnormalities. Thank you for teaching me something today. Click on the link.

In the article, it states if one has gestational diabetes, it is likely type 2 will delvelop later in life. I would go further, & reason gestational diabetes is caused by the same chromosomal abnormality as type 2 diabetes.
