| Transition from Coast Guard to FBI/CIA?
I am graduating this May and will have a degree in Criminal Justice. I would like to pursue the route of the Coast Guard and work in their tactical and counter terror teams. I know these guys in the Coast guard train in conjunction with FBI HRT/SWAT teams. Will this help me when I apply for FBI and then try and do the HRT route? Also I want to go into the coast guard as an officer. Is this going to help me when applying for FBI or make it more difficult. And lastly I would also apply for the CIA paramilitary operations job. How much of being in the coast guards tactical teams help me with the CIA application. I will be applying against former SEALs and SF guys. Hope you can help me on this. Thank you! |
