| Take algebra, calculus, physics, chemistry, ecology, and physiology if your school offers it. You will have to take all of these in college as a zoology major, and a good solid background in these subjects will help you immensely. I really liked my zoology classes..I did not much care for all the chemistry and physics, but upper division courses that I got to chose myself were amazing! You can get a job helping animals with this degree, you can work as a zookeeper, you can work as a biologist studying animals in the wild, you can work in a lab, for a museum, doing research for a university, or as a teacher (with credentials). |
