Look on auction sites people list all sort of good things in order to get you to buy the item, i.e. smoke free, pet free home, etc. It all ties in with people being honest and forthright about the item. What she did was obviously not mention it because she knew people would be less interested in it. Why would you possibly feel bad about bringing up a quality issue when it was something she did not even want to keep herself and you paid good money for it.
