| It hurt to read this question.
A bestseller is a book that sells well simply because it's selling well. It's useless to try to write a bestseller because you can't predict what will and what won't be one. Concentrate on writing well.
Sit down, plot out your story, decide what you want to do. Do some research on the personalities of the gods, too, otherwise you'll tick off Greek-mythology buffs. You can't expect anyone to do much, if any, of the work for you.
Also note that at thirteen, your prose probably isn't up to snuff, so you won't be published by a legitimate publisher or picked up by a legitimate agent. I'm not saying it's impossible, I'm saying it's _unlikely_. If you and your family need money, may I suggest a fundraiser? A bake sale? Maybe a car wash?
Writing is the _worst_ way to make a living. Unless you're prolific and extremely lucky (more lucky than anything,) you're unlikely to make a great deal of money off writing.
If you're looking for something that will make you a lot of money, I recommend you get into the health or technology fields. |
