I have been with my BF for 8 months in a long distance relationship. We talked about me moving, and he sent me apartments listings and we talked about where we would live, etc. Then, suddenly, he recently told me he needs space to figure things out. He has a VERY stressful job as a coach for a university, and his contract may not be renewed, which is why he says he needs space. Also, i found out he went on a date with another woman. What is the real meaning for space? He still texts me asking me how my day is going and what's new, and I do respond, but besides that, I do not contact him. Am I doing the right thing?? I love him and I could see myself with him in the future, but I don't want to get hurt either...I need advice!!
