My son-in-law has recently started having very strong reactions to fragrances. He's also having some unpleasant reactions to over-the-counter Claritin, which makes it unusable for him.

I've read a few articles that offer suggestions on how to avoid being faced with the irritants. Unfortunately, he's stuck with this at work, because his job involves facing customers.

What have you done to help eliminate the allergic reaction? Are you taking a med that you recommend? If he sees a doctor (which is tricky, since he's not insured), what kind of tests will they put him through?

Any other advice?
bubbleep, I just said he can't take Claritin.
