Democrats have no principles. They do whatever is in their self interest at the time. That is what happens when you don't have a solid moral foundation. Instead liberals say, if it feels good, do it. Hillary will certainly make the case if it is in her best interest and Barack will take the opposing view because it is in his interest. Liberals aren't interested in right and wrong. They are only interested in what they can get away with.
