| As far as the cutting & pasting, show her, and then sit next to her and have her do it a few times. Sometimes it seems older people learn things better by doing.
As far as changing a mindset....it depends on the person you're trying to change. If you're over 70, you have seen much more than a lot of people, but, as long as you live, situations and learning and adaptations to things happen. My father was 72, and was slightly predjudiced against hispanics, until I came home with an hispanic girlfriend. After meeting her, seeing how we interacted, and how she showed him much respect for his age, nt only did he change his mind, but since his 73rd birthday, he's been taking spanish lessons. So, it can happen, just depends on who it is, and how you propose they make that change |
