| In truth, both theories should work. But in the end, you are right, the Republican idea will fail. But the politician Republicans keep repeating the idea, and the Republican voters keep choosing the idea. Why?
The main reason why is that the Democrat politicians don't really have a plan. At all. You will find that most Democrat politicians make their choices and platforms based on whatever is the opposite of what the Republicans want to do; rather than based on any logical reasoning.
Sometimes they stumble on the right answer anyway (the one you gave). But you will find that most Republican voters can see the Democrat politicians have no idea what they are doing; and they'll choose the confidence of the Republican politicians regardless of the obvious repeat failures of "trickle-down economics."
But for the record, Republicans only drop taxes on the corporations; but Democrats raise taxes on everybody. The middle class is screwed by both parties. You attacked someone who is responsible, but you did not get everyone who is responsible.  |
