| I would go with the Nuclear Medicine Technology personally, b/c they are most in demand and get the best salary, but go with what interests you the most. Also, it is easy to complete a Bachelors degree in this field (evening/online often times) with NMT, whereas I think completing a Bachelors in the other fields later on would be unlikely or hard to find such programs. NMT's make about $45,000 plus starting out, and that is usually the minimum! They mostly work in hospitals and work M-F 8 or 9 through 5 and weekends once in a while. Physical Therapy Assistants usually work at Physical Therapy Offices and work similar schedules but probably no weekends. Respiratory Tech's work pretty much day or night shifts or a mix of both. They work mostly in hospitals. Go to www.bls.gov (Bureau of Labor Statistics) and scroll down to the Occupational Outlook Handbook. Then click on the A-Z index. Click on R for Respiratory Tech, N for Nuclear Med Tech, and P for Physical Therapy Asst. It will list job outlook, duties, scheudle, salary, and much more!  |
