Yes, if you had a marketing degree or an MBA, but you don't. Economics has nothing to do with retail. There are even degrees in retail. So no, you are going to ahve to prove yourself. you could possibly get into Wal-Mart's management training program. Most people in that program have degrees.But really, like anything else, you have to pay your dues. That means, working as an associate ro some other less than glorious job unless you have the right degree for the job.
