0311 Rifleman..you do all sortsa sh*t. Its a bigger MOS, the MOS that actually goes through room clearing.
75% of the casualties happen in CQB and house to house fighting.
Its the most accepted when applying for recon or sniper school.
0331...is a pretty motivating MOS that annoys snipers.
Theyre at the center of attention in a firefight, pretty much, while the 0311s go in for the kill.
oh and 31s are just called machine gunners, they do use 50 cals and Mk19s.
