| How does the Coast Guard affect your family?
My husband and I have a 21 month old son. We both are wanted to join the Coast Guards. We were wondering if anyone has any advice for us on how this may affect our family.
Does it work out if both parents are in the service?
Is it better for one parent to be in the service?
Are the benefits better or the same when both parents are in?
Is it possible that we will have to hand our son over to another family member at times? (When or if we both are out at sea)
* My husband and I are both stuggling with the thought of which one of us is going to join. We both want to. After I saw the waiting list for some of the careers to get into A school I was a bit disappointed. Any advice? |
