Energy drinks SHOULD NOT have any alcohol in them to start with. And yes it can measure the amounts of alcohol in medicines, any amount of alchohol in medicines will register after you take them as it will be metabolised in your blood stream and come out in your exhalations. You may not believe it but Nyquil has more alchohol in it than Budweiser. The same for Geritol, no wonder old folks are "feeling better" after their Geritol, they're stewed!! LOL!!
