Stay out of Clinical Dietetics if you want to make a lot of money or value job satisfaction. However, if you prioritize job security, it does that quite well. Working in hospitals or nursing homes is tough because the dietitician is there only because the employers are legally obligated to have you there. The court mandated service limits per patient are totally unrealistic. Something like 5 minutes per person. You can't do your job well, and nobody cares. They just don't want to get sued.
A Food Service career is much more satisfying. Find a job with a major food company, purveyor, or consultant. The work is usually in nutritional analysis of there product lines or Public Education. Your efforts are actually desired and valued. If you're good at it, the pay is commensurate.
