| Gestational Diabetes??
My doctor just told me today that I have GD (I'm 31 weeks), but I only did the one hour test. I thought a 3 hour test was usually done to determine that?? Also, I didn't have GD with my first, is it normal to not have GD with your first child, but still develop it with your second??
Also, what kind of diet changes do I need to make now??
I am scheduled to meet with a nutritionist next week to discuss diet. Not sure why I didn't get the 3 hour test (I did with my first and passed it after failing the 1 hour test), but from what I've read if the levels are abnormally high they will just skip the 3 hour test. |
