Does diabetics get some help from the government or the state?
In my country diabetics ( just with type 1 and until the are 26 ) get 25 stripes for measuring blood level in a month ( it's not enough for 1 measuring in a day and not for more like it has to be), insulin is free ( at least some of it) and a little sum of money which doesn't cover charges for stripes and not for something else like food or medication
here nobody sees economical situations of the family. As I wrote you get help if you are type 1 under 26
and I agree that there are a lot of charges stripes for blood, for ketons, medical control to the capital city ( in my counrty is only one center) and a lot more |
