| Why is Greek mythology, just a myth, but the stories in the bible are true? If the Greeks believed that their Gods were real and the stories they told about their Gods were true to them. Why isn't it true to us now? Would you think that if we were raised in ancient Greece that we would be convinced that Apollo or Zeus existed? Could we say the same thing about religion today? Christianity, Judaism and Islam for example, are convinced that their God(s) are real and the stories that took place in the Talmud, Bible, Koran etc. are beyond a shadow of the doubt, real? Why do religious people insist that their beliefs are the absolute truth when it's not true for for the rest of us? |
