| According to the Center for Disease Control in the USA, 1 in every 400-500 childrenor adolescents are diagnosed. How old are you and do you have someone to talk to about your situation and feelings? I have have it for 39 years. I was 4 years old when I was diagnosed. When you go to see your endocinologist, the diabetic doctor, go to the classes that they offer. You will meet other kids like you and have someone to relate to as you grow older.
