abcannieboehm has a spectacular aura about
Wedding photography?

I have recently been asked by my photography professor to shoot his friends wedding... but I've never done one before.

Although my teacher says he's quite confident in my ability, I'm still rather nervous. Does anyone have some tips for me?

Also, the gig only pays $150, but it's about a 70 mile round trip for me to drive there and back. (I drive a jeep, meaning I'm really only making about $100 or less on the deal.) My teacher is pushing me to ask for more gas money, but I'm rather shy about those things and I'm unsure how to go about it. Suggestions?

But mostly I'm hoping for a few pointers on how to go about doing the actual photography of the day. I'm mostly doing it for the expierience, rather than the cash.
