| Good grief! I would not even LOOK at my camera case for $150, that is TOTALLY ASININE. You are being taken advantage of IN A MAJOR WAY. Shooting a wedding is HARD, LONG WORK. Then there is even more work after the wedding sorting photos, arranging for prints or whatever. I will assume though that at that ridiculous price you will just be giving all the photos on a CD. But then be prepared for people to be wanting you to do all kinds of edits to certain photos.
I was paid $400 for my very first wedding many, many years ago, and that was less than a mile from my home.
Do NOT agree to the $150 price, and on top of that you have to spend money on gas as high as it is now, and getting worse every day.
As your first job, you should expect no less than $300 PLUS the cost of gas for you to travel. And that is cutting it to the rock bottom.
Please, please do not allow yourself to be taken advantage of like this. There is a sucker born every minute and you are being used as one.
You will do much more for your future and respectability to refuse to do the job at all rather than be insulted with doing it at that price.
