Yes I did know it could be, however, my argument is this:
bio diesel is not the "green" alternative. If made of ethanol then it uses more of our precious resources than ever before.
Corn mostly, although there are alternatives to ethanol. Government subsidizes 51% per gallon of ethanol produced, so all our farmers are wanting to get in on this grand subsidy.

Less wheat, soy, barley, hops are being grown by farmers, creating a food shortage to top WW11. The total amount of corn actually needed to produce one gallon of ethanol fuel is staggering.
There has to be a better alternative.
*example - A 50 pound bag of sunflower seed for bird feeding was $19.80 in Nov. of '07, it is currently sitting at $29.
That's a whopping mark up for a 6 month period. All thanks to Biodiesel. yea... go green.
