It does seem so. Their gods/goddesses all have something unique - personalities. Zues is a jealous, woman-abusing, people-eating monster in some tails. Unlike most other cultures, the greek gods/goddesses actually had flaws. Imagine a Christian believing their god had flaws? Its unthinkable to them. But not to the greeks.
Muses are woman - thus the idea that woman are more creative and intelligent, as men need these female muses to give them inpseration.
There are tales of women withholding sex to control the men.
Aprhoridite, Athena, Artemis - very very powerful women.
Where as the men of greek culture can't seem to see past their privates. :-D
