| So sorry to hear this, I recently lost my father to cancer, Honestly there is nothing "special" that you can send with the exception of something for chapped lips, nothing containing petroleum such as chap stick, the hospice people working with my family said the petroleum containing products can produce a flash burn when mixed with the oxygen....Also instead of wash cloths they make pre moistened cleansing cloths for sponge baths, they can be found in the pharmacy isle. I would also pack in the package personal effects of the past like old pictures, favorite candies, anything that will make him smile and remember that his life did have value and he will be missed and remembered! Again I am sorry to hear your family will be experiencing this loss. |
