| my cat had a tumor too and i could not put him down, but when he had a hard time going to the bathroom and just walking to his box, i finally had to put him to sleep. he never showed like he was in pain, but i'm sure he was. it's so hard and i'm sorry. i just put a blanket on the floor that he liked, because he could not jump up on our couch/bed or chair to sleep any longer and I would lay down w/him and I fed him when he could not get up to eat. my cat was almost 20 though, so he had a good life. i miss him so much still and it's been 3 yrs. just stay close to him, they know. |
