SupDoc has a spectacular aura about
If you went to a four year college only, the first two years are often spent taking your general classes, such as English, Math, etc. So if you decide to go to a community college, you can almost major in anything as long as you get the general requirements and as long as those general requirements are accepted by the four year school that you go to. All that to say, yes, Sociology would be fine. Sociology looks at large groups of people and how they are affected as a whole. Psychology might be better because it looks at people individually. But it really doesn't matter. I have no idea what family studies are at that school. It sounds like it looks at people in connection to their family. They might be great for someone interested in social work. You should also talk to someone at the community college, like an advisor, who can clearly tell you what you want to know about their majors and if the credits will transfer to a particular four year college.
