You seem earnest. But I think you are refusing to face facts. Nobody has a job for somebody with a BS degree in Evolutionary Biology. Nobody publishes the research of anyone with only a BS degree in any kind of Biology. There is no such "path in life" unless you are independently wealthy and don't need to work for a living.
Upper class Biology classes and labs are scheduled during daytime hours only. Can you get a steady night shift active duty military schedule for 3-5 years? I doubt it.
Think about a career in nursing (lots of colleges have night shift courses for those with other BA degrees) or Physician's Assistant programs.
Evolutionary Biology is for PhD candidates only who intend to teach at the college level. Nothing else.
